The Amphora electric kettle takes its name from the ancient Greek clay vessels that were used for storing oil and wine. The Danish designer, Sebastian Holmbäck drew his inspiration for the kettle from the round body and distinctive shoulders of the amphora, but with a definite futuristic touch.
